Fujifilm X-T1 – 28th of January

After testing both the X100 and the X100s and lustfully glancing at the X-Pro1 and X-E2 the compleat workaround seems to be hitting the streets very soon.
Fujifilm managed to create something special with there X-Trans sensor delivering crisp and detailed photos that can make even a Leica jealous at times. However the M9 was always in the back of my head when I was out with the 100 so it had to go and the XPRO was the sluggish masterpiece that everybody loves to hate but now it’s arriving.

Weather sealed
Fast AF (according to rumors incredibly fast)
Large EVF (would have loved the OVF/EVF from the 100 but the design don’t work that way)
Direct control of shutter speed, ISO and exp. compensation on the top plate.
16MP APS-C and this is where I gave up… Staying with my ugly duck the A7r. I would have loved this sensor in FF around 24MP but then again Fuji would have to redesign all the lenses to work for the larger sensor area.
