Midsummer night’s dream

Today it´s Midsummers eve and I am not aloud to sit infront of the computer, so this is a pre made post that by the power of… not Grayskull but setting a publish date. Makes this apear from nowhere.

The image is from Åland or rather an Island in the archipelago of Åland.

One evening me and my close friend Per Ardne went out with the highest combat setting in mind, fighting every mosquito that came to close to our equipment, we lasted about 5 minuts, after that we admit that we were defeated and go home and lick our wounds.

  • 5D mark II
  • EF 85mm f/1.2 L USM
  • f/13.0
  • 1/5sec
  • ISO 100
  • Manfrotto tripod
  • About 100.000 mosquitos controlling every setting on the camera during exposure

Remember that it’s up to you to show what your eyes registered and your brain felt at the time of the image. Don’t just trust your cameras output. It doesn’t know reality, it can only register the light.
